NOVICE TRAINING

ECBC novices train separately from the seniors in the Michaelmas term, with an aim of around three 1 hour sessions a week, split across erg training, tanks and water time.

After racing in Christ Church Regatta, the novices then merge with the senior’s training.

SENIOR TRAINING

Seniors train several times a week (volume tending to follow the racing calendar), with the aim of achieving as much water time as possible given availability. Men and women generally train separately in squads, though will mix crews to ensure sufficient water time is managed.

Every week there is a group circuits session for all members at the Exeter College Boat House.

TRAINING CAMPS

All members are invited to take part in ECBC’s fun and exciting pre-term training camps. More information available here.
